The EuroPD 2023 conference will take place at The Bruges Meeting & Convention Centre (BMCC) in Bruges, Belgium.

With its outstanding location, within walking distance of numerous Bruges hotels and world-famous attractions, meets all the needs of a modern event and conference location. The ground floor — with a total area of 4,500m² — is the ideal space for larger public events. The upper floors are designed for meetings and conferences for 10 to 516 participants. The design of this unique building provides all that is needed: a plenary room with a retractable seating platform for 516 people, a spacious foyer, poster areas, 12 breakout rooms and a catering area on the top floor with a beautiful view of Bruges city centre.

  • On Foot
    The BMCC is a 20-minute walk from the railway station and within walking and cycling distance of Bruges’ hotels and tourist attractions.
  • By Bicycle
    Bruges is a compact city, so you can easily cycle everywhere. The BMCC has a spacious underground bicycle parking facility.
  • From The Railway Station
    The railway station is located a matter of minutes from the BMCC. Bruges Station has direct connections with Brussels Airport.
  • By Shuttle
    There is an electric shuttle bus and it stops at the ‘Kiss & Ride’ area of the train station. Hop off at the ‘Grote Markt’ which is the Grand Place. The Crowne Plaza is located at the Burg Square or ‘Burgplein’ in Dutch. The shuttle bus is free and available between 07:00 and the last one leaves at 18:40. The shuttle runs every 20 minutes. Maximum capacity on the shuttle is 22 of which 10 are seated places. There are +12 standing places. 
  • Connections
    All information, timetables and prices can be found on the SNCB/NMBS website. With the Thalys from Amsterdam, Paris or Cologne you can quickly reach Bruges via Brussels South.
  • Own Car Park
    The paid underground car park has 80 spaces for the building’s users.
  • Public Car Park
    The nearest public car parks are Interparking Centrum – Zand and Centrum – Station. Book your parking space online.
  • International
    Visitors landing at Brussels Airport (Zaventem) can get a direct train to Bruges Station. The train journey takes 80 minutes.
